BRL-CAD® Release 6.0 Design Notes

We are in the process of discussing a variety of changes to the existing BRL-CAD® software structure as well as attempting to plan out new capabilities. These Web pages document the current state of my thinking on these subjects. These documents will evolve to track the design.

• New high-performance display library somewhat patterned after the MGED display managers
• New utility/support library extracted from LIBRT, for broader use.
• How to operate the real-time ray-tracer RTSYNC and RTNODE.
